Requirements for earning your pharmacy technician certification vary by state, so it’s important to check before completing your certification. For example, if you’re in Iowa you have to first register with the state board then complete your Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam within one year. If your state has regulations similar to Iowa, you can complete your certification in a timely manner in order to meet your state’s requirements.
