NORCROSS, Ga. - The online Paralegal Studies programs at Ashworth College were recently highlighted on two education-based websites–U.S. News Education, an online division of U.S. News & World Report which provides articles and rankings of colleges and universities, and ParalegalEDU.org, an independent guide for legal support students and professionals.
In “6 Ways to Study Law Online” by U.S. News, education editor Jordan Friedman offered six options for accelerating a legal career outside of earning a traditional Juris Doctor degree at a brick and mortar institution. The Ashworth College paralegal certificate programs are included at no. 3 alongside Duke University as viable options for online career training.
ParalegalEDU.org included Ashworth College Paralegal Studies among programs from 57 other post-secondary institutions in 25 states. The site editors created the list of “Top Entry-Level, Pre-Degree Paralegal Certificate Programs” after reviewing more than 250 regionally- and nationally- accredited community colleges, career and technical training institutes, state schools, private universities, and proprietary schools that offer basic, pre-degree certificates in paralegal studies and related fields. The schools were selected based on each program’s opportunities for experiential learning, student services, reputation, alignment with job skills needed in the current marketplace, and accommodations for online or hybrid study options.
