SpouseWorks Scholarship eligibility

Military spouses of active duty Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy service members, as well as National Guard members and reservists, are welcome to apply SpouseWorks Scholarship funds to career diploma, career certificate, and associate degree courses at Ashworth College.

In order to qualify for a SpouseWorks Scholarship, a spouses’ Sponsor must be one of the following pay grades: E1-E9, W1-W3 and O1-O3. Additionally, the spouse must complete the Ashworth College program during his or her Sponsor’s Title 10 Active Duty Orders.

SpouseWorks Scholarships offer a maximum financial benefit of $4,000 with a fiscal year cap of $2,000. Your eligibility and benefits amounts must be determined by the Department of War prior to your enrollment.

Online learning experience

Our flexible online career school and college degree programs are ideal for military spouses because of our self-paced learning model. Log on to your courses at your convenience without worrying about taking time away from your other commitments. Students have 24/7 access to their online program, so you can login, study, and access learning resources whenever it works best for you. Remember, though, if you are a military spouse using SpouseWorks Scholarship benefits for your tuition, you must complete your studies during your Sponsor’s Title 10 Active Duty Orders.

How to enroll

All Ashworth College programs accept open enrollment all year long. Because our online college courses have no set start dates or meeting times, there is no need to wait for a new semester if you're ready to enroll.
